Myspace 3,000 - Corporate Music Sinks

Dear Reader,

The demise of MYSPACE may be a little early. Music is alive on myspace and doing well thank you.

My own myspace site just passed 11,000 views (which is low for many). But the big number for me is 3,000 Myspace friends.…

Again with the thinking

Okay, so I've got it now. I'll keep Estrones as a small size zine, and it will be partly handwritten, part typed on a computer. And Looks Like Rain will be a bigger, separate perzine. Okay, I think that's what I'll do. Until tomorrow when I'll probably come up with a different plan! Butterfly mind? Who? Fi?!

Meanwhile, I have had a zine week with some lovely zines in the letter box. (I have an American style postbox on the front wall, so the postman doesn't…

Summer's Hiatus: Forgive my absence

So I am currently without a job, my expected graduation has been delayed 'til the end of the Fall semester, and I have decided to take a step back. I am currently in NJ, will fly to Florida on Saturday and things are simply and ridiculously INSANE. And these perhaps, explain my absence from wmz and the zine community in general these past few weeks. With all that said, my apologies to everyone.

AND if i owe you any zines through trade or a reply or anything at all. Email me a reminder… Continue

So-#8 of ButtRagMag is ready now or has been for about 2 weeks I just haven't gotten around to posting it up on here.

It has a cover done by Hugo and the Back cover by Dexter Cockburn! Then there is a 2 page photo spread of 'Girls and Corpses Reem Up with ButtRagMag' with my zombie self and my hot pal Kat in the bathroom going nuts with our mags! Then there is the 'Bonerators-Amazon Pussytime' episode. Also a great booty page! So grab! It'll be 2 dolla or trade. O and I can't forget…

thinking about a change of name

I've been thinking, as you do, about changing the title of my perzine. Estrones is Welsh for alien woman, but it's not obvious, unless you siarad Cymraeg. (Yes, okay, I'm being clever. It means speak Welsh.) So I've been considering changing it to "Alien Woman".

It shouldn't be too confusing. I've only put one issue out so far, so it's not going to muck up anyone's cateloging system. So what do you think? Name change or not? And yes, I'm in two minds which is not surprising given that…

Beautiful Mess #3

This zine was fueled by Polaroids, heartache, and Regina Spektor. It's a journey through memories and emotion and it's up to your own interpretation because, in the words of King Haggard, "My secrets keep themselves."

It's 34 pages, 1/2 sized and full colour, which also makes it $5

[This just…
