Previously created zine projects.. (a list of sorts)

My profile was looking overrun and shabby, so I tried to tidy it up a bit. Less is more, you know?

Unless I'm on a rant in a zine, then it's a whole other story..

Here are some of the zines I have made, since forever, I know I've missed titles, but this is the majority of it.

So, other previously written zines published by me, Tasha, include..............

Poems with Spirit

The original building
had a tower
to catch the wind

but now it's gone
it kept geting clogged
with low flying clouds!

...

one bell
in the tower
was deaf

...

this sacred air
keeps escaping
out of the church

...

and on
and on
and so forth
and so on

...

Zen text?
Blank book?
I get them both
mixed up!

Someone Did an article on Most Overlooked Book - my response

Someone did an article on the best overlooked books of the year. Here is my response: Most overlooked? Compare with an entire golden age of literature overlooked by everyone! Zines, or the desktop explosion from late 80′s for a decade or so, produced not only great writing, but great book making and illustration tied in with that writing. It was the first literature that included bookmaking as part of the achievement. It was the best writing of the 90′s and I bet you don’t even know about the… Continue

I'm sending zines over to the Philippines to help out with the new zine library being built. Feel free to contact Dead Times Zine ( http://wemakezines.ning.com/profile/DeadTimesZine) if you'd like to donate! I personally think it's awesome to have my work all over the world!

This week's quizzical quiz question

The answer to, and winner (if any) for, our last contest question of:

If I just said, "It's got a good beat and you can dance to it," What did I most likely just finish doing? Clue 35-98!

IS,

You just finished the "Rate-a-Record" segment of American Bandstand ( rate how you like it from 35-98). The TV show would play 2 new releases and two people from the audience would rate the record. Seems that over time the good ratings always had the same reasons, "It's got a good beat and… Continue
