The fifth issue of Printaissance, Five by Five, has been scripted, snipp'd, and pasted together. A fun and fairly personal issue of the zine is full of original poetry and personal insights into my life. The tales and themes of the sections have all come from fives! I made a thing so you can do your thing
Hi, I made you this: http://bit.ly/zinestock
It's a collection of pictures that zinesters can use for free for backgrounds and textures. I like to take pictures, and they may as well be useful for someone instead of sitting around stale on my hard drive.
I'll keep adding to this as I take more. Currently,…

This major known and celebrated American writer, said his favorite work was his biography of Joan of Arc. And that it took him 12 years of preparation and 2 years of writing to make. Name that author.
IS
Mark Twain! He said, "I like Joan of Arc best of all my books; and it is the best; I know it perfectly well. And besides, it furnished me seven times the pleasure afforded me by any of the others; twelve years of preparation, and two years of writing. The others needed no preparation…

Call for Submissions: Lady Bits Zine
I started to collect submissions last summer for a zine I wanted to call "lady bits." I got a lot of submissions, but once school started, I didn't have time to put it together. So, now I'm calling out for more submissions.
Premise:
I decided I wanted to create a zine about the female body, but more importantly, how those who…

Crafts package in exchange for zine(s)??
I'm putting together a little package of a pendant, a collage, a tea bag, and perhaps some other random art, all enclosed in a collaged box. Would anyone be interested in trading this for a zine or two? If so, email your address to creativeevolutionzine@gmail.com or message me. I'll probably be able to send it out in the next two weeks or so.
