Me and my Zine

Hi everyone, I very lazily make a zine called, 'F/8 and be there'

It's a small collection of things, moments and engagements that make me take a second look and think, I love to show what I've seen to other people. For me that's what taking photos is about.

writers/interviewers/organizers wanted

We still need just a few folks that can lend their wit and writ to interview a handful of artists for our rad/ical arts magazine. We love folks that can ask probing, pointed questions with a critical eye. Are you that somebody? (thanks aaliyah)

Too, we're looking for people to climb aboard as members of the core collective. Right now we exist as a compact unit of three and would love more hands/hearts/heads/voices in the mix to help create something sustainable. We're specifically… Continue

Upon reviewing the drawings, (she) could not believe what she was seeing: on thirty-nine sheets of vellum were drawn the most detailed, fantastic buildings—whole cities, in… Continue

Artist-produced zines and small press

In the first issue of ArtXX, we included a few pages of DIY/craft-action, which was fun, well & good, and a great opportunity to support other folks making amazing things. As we draw close to putting the finishing touches on the second issue, we were thinking of dropping the DIY section, as we were unsure of whether it meshed well with the rest of the publication.

Then, recently, I stopped by Needles & Pens ( www.needles-pens.com ) for my monthly rifling-through-their-racks… Continue

i am the raving cunt on WE MAKE ZINES!

so, i am sorry but this site is filled with assholes who make me feel sad and upset about the state of zines. If WE MAKE ZINES is a reflection of the new generation of zinesters then we are in serious trouble.

I refuse to keep my mouth shut. Everytime someone writes something stupid on here that I can see I will speak my mind. Even if it means I am a devil cunt whore everyone grows to hate.

I LOVE ZINES. I LOVE ZINES for VERY intense reasons.

if i pissed you off.....

Hi Everyone,

I am just gonna come out with it: I have not been in a good mental place and have struggled with drug addiction for a long time now. One of the problems I had was honoring orders and trades. I just want to make this public blog post so you know I have every intention of going through all my files and sending every single person the zine I promised, even if it was a year ago.

Please know I am not trying to cheat you or be a lazy bitch. I'm just having some… Continue

Only Three?

Hmm, I could have sworn that I'd written more entries on here than that!

Ah well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am back, but I need some ass-kicking to get back into making zines! I want to, but some days I can't even motivate myself to get up and go shower.

So, any tips and tricks for getting back in the game?
