As April is bowel cancer awareness month, I was keen to get the first issue of the Project Dissimulation zine completed in time for April – so keen that I managed to be finished early! So far I have completed Volume I of the zine, a matching Project Dissimulation badge (I will create a new badge design for each issue, so they can be collected!), and bird badges made from upcycled postage stamps for anyone who would like a completely individual souvenir of the Project - but there is still…Continue

It was another great time at the Chicago Zine Fest, but I almost didn't make it. The fest filled up on the first day of registration, and I had to get on a waiting list. Fortunately a spot opened up at the last week. Then I had to buckle down and finish my new zine that I'd begun slacking on.
I met some…Continue
I'm thinking of a assembling a zine called "There's an elephant in the room" based off my experience with coping with a secret the size of an elephant and was wondering if anyone would want to submit anything (poetry, drawing, pictures) that have to do with their experience keeping a secret.

After a long time in never-never land, we're on the return with a new issue in MAY! We print and post just about everything we receive. We have no theme, no machinations, and no ego...we just make our little zine out of pocket to share on the small island of Bali. Check out our past issues at homelesslongitude.com - to contribute check out our SEND US YOUR ART page.

1983 I was still trying to draw comics.I wanted to put out a preppy comic about teenagers-like an Archie comic for punk rockers.I was having a hard time finding space to draw in.It was too hard in the city.I was like, crashing on rooftops and shit.Chris was trying to get into a decent squat, but most of the squats wanted people that were really commited. We were just drunk.I started doing an action comic,BADMAN,and trying to print that up,but I didnt have any money. If I drew political shit,I…Continue

Everyone's excited about Maria James-Thiaw's recently finished manuscript which may turn out to be the big PostDada Press 2013 Blockbuster.
"Talking 'White' ", the latest release from postDada Media, will be available April 2013. This collection of poetry takes a hard look at the taboo subject of intra-cultural bullying that takes place within the black community, whether it's crabs-in-a-basket-syndrome, paper bag tests, or just colorism in all its forms.

For some arbitrary reason or other, I've started blogging thoughts on some of the zines I've read that might fall into the category of "reviews." Though it's a minute stash I'm working from, hopefully there is a zine or two others haven't read. If you're looking for something new to read, curiosity is always welcome at: http://foggybottompress.tumblr.com/…Continue

One of my oldest zine ideas (first featured in a now obsolete zine about postcards called PostScript) has been recycled into a new looseleaf zine: The Postcard Recycling Kit. Includes crafty postcard projects as well as postcard labels to upcycle any artwork, waste cardstock, or any other item you choose! More pics & further info…Continue
