a place for zinesters - writers and readers
As the zine grinds
I've been doing art. All kinds of changes going on and the art still keeps going. So the other day I finally find the first two issues of Phaugy Dox and look through them and I still like them.
It's pushed me to do a third which I had no idea that I would do. After the first two I didn't know…

New zine!!!!
I decided to take part in the 24 hour zine thing in July 2012. I had been meaning to make a new zine for years and finally made myself do it!! I made the zine on July 30th, 2012; the 17th anniversary of the death of my best friend. The zine I made was Dirty July #2. A quarter size; 16 page zine all about my BFF Christy. I still miss her to this day. If you would like a copy, send me a message. It cost $1 or zine trade. :)

Hiatus
It's been a long one, and unfortunately it will have to continue a wee bit longer. I'm extremely busy as of late, and in fact the only reason why I am able to get online right now is because I'm tired and procrastinating writing an annotated bibliography for my International Cultural Studies class. Deep breath.
So I just want to say Thank You and I'm so sorry to all of you who have contributed to FSU or another zine in my hands that I have not completed yet, or to those of…

the end of Zine World
After much consideration I have decided to stop publishing Zine World.
I announced in November my intent to step down ad publisher and head editor of ZW. At that time I had hoped to create a new editorial team to relaunch the zine. A few people stepped forward; unfortunately, we haven't been able to gain traction, and I can no longer continue as the zine's leader. My life has changed over the past few years, and I can no longer give the zine the time and energy it deserves.…

The Copy Scams! (aka: the best zine themed band in the world!)
Stoked to get the Copy Scams songs on Soundcloud now. 4 of these are the old demo versions from the cassette tape. We rerecorded all the songs while we were on tour in the UK. We also recorded 3 new songs including Copy and Destroy (this is the demo version) We hope to have the new version out this year if we can scrounge up…

My Zine History,1975
Going to Comic Convention's was the best thing in the world to me.While I dug the mainstream Marvel shit, and the San Francisco Underground shit,I was increasingly drawn to the fanzines that were sporadically printed and sold at the Convention's.Stuff like Squa Tron and other small publication's printed bt fan's,to me,seemed like a bridge between the unobtainable world of big time superhero book's and more human, smaller publication's.Already attracted to Underground Press through copies of…
