and you can find me on Twitter, Facebook, and at www.slumgullion.org...oh and many of the zines depicted in our photo album are available for trade or sale, just send me an email.. or a twitter.. or a facebook...or.....i'm posting really late at night so this is as coherent as it gets. But I am excited to be here, and to spend many hours perusing people's pages. I'm trying to build a zine library, but am utterly poor, so trading and donations of zines, books, comics, etc are eagerly accepted.

Newbie Perzine Question

How do you deal with the uncertainty and possible imminent backlash when writing a perzine and reflecting on people and occurrences as truthful as you can? Like i war against myself because I want to be honest...I need to b and get some of this shit out, but I don't want to sever ties...burn bridges...make anyone an outcast....

Any suggestions?

Total Newbie!!!!

I am a total newbie to the world of Zines!
It is here that I hope I am able to finally burst through my writer's bubble that has encased me for so long.
I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I just lack the discipline to allow them to flow forth.

sometimes...

when i'm in the grocery store i have to fight the strong urge to kick all the glass jars of juice on the bottom shelf. especially if they are pretty coloured juices, like mango.

anyone else have this problem?

I love getting mail!

I came back to school to find a huge pile of mail outside my door, including zines from Susy Pow, Heather, and Emma Stronach! I just opened them and am super-excited to get to read 'em all. One of my favorite things about this whole zine trading business is getting real mail almost every day. :)
