and you can find me on Twitter, Facebook, and at www.slumgullion.org...oh and many of the zines depicted in our photo album are available for trade or sale, just send me an email.. or a twitter.. or a facebook...or.....i'm posting really late at night so this is as coherent as it gets. But I am excited to be here, and to spend many hours perusing people's pages. I'm trying to build a zine library, but am utterly poor, so trading and donations of zines, books, comics, etc are eagerly accepted.

Maggie sat in the back seat of a dark grey range rover and wished she wasn't there. It was raining, dream-like mist. The windows smeared and streaked with rain like fast angry tears. The driver was middle aged, mouldy, and smelled of old cigars and unwashed clothing. He did not say a word since he had picked her up, but neither did she. Leaning her head against the window she watched the droplets race from the top of the window to the bottom just like that water-filled game Gran gave to her on… Continue
How do you deal with the uncertainty and possible imminent backlash when writing a perzine and reflecting on people and occurrences as truthful as you can? Like i war against myself because I want to be honest...I need to b and get some of this shit out, but I don't want to sever ties...burn bridges...make anyone an outcast....
writing has become frustration. i've forgotten subjects i've writen about 2 days ago (or more).
this is gonna take longer than i thought. i have short and long term memory loss.

Yup,I started working on the layout today, finally! I decided to start documenting my progress with working on SSR and made two short videos. maybe you would like to see them?…
I am a total newbie to the world of Zines!
It is here that I hope I am able to finally burst through my writer's bubble that has encased me for so long.
I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I just lack the discipline to allow them to flow forth.
Looking for writers and artists in southern Indiana and western Kentucky who are interested in collaborating on literary zines, co-op reviews, and roller derby.
It's been a little while since I've posted one of these updates but here's what's been added to the Poopsheet Shop since the last one (links and more info below):
Wow, first blog.
Unfortunately I've become used to writing and reading incredibly diluted life-stories on myspace profiles; so writing a blog should give me the kick up the backside I truely deserve.
So let's not start with the basics.
- I was born on Christmas day, 1993, during the Queens speech. My mother still managed to eat two chrismas dinners that day.
- I have a passion for history, art, music and history of art and music. Currently I have a developing fixation on… Continue

My name is Ramsey and I make a zine called list filled with illustrations! If you like my zine, it's a good chance you like it because of the drawings, so I figured it was relevant to post about my illustration sale on here.
My cat, Stella, became very ill over the holiday and the only way to save her was for her to get surgery. Obviously, surgery of any kind, even for an animal, is very expensive. Since she was a young cat,… Continue
Not really sure if anyone bothers to read my blog posts on here, but I figured that since I made a coupon for my past customers to use I might as well spread it around for anyone else who wanted to buy up some zines with a 20% discount. Through 1.20.09, you will receive 20% off the total of your zine order if you enter the code "holiday0809" when you check out. Trust me, it works! It's great! And I've got a lot of great new stuff on the site right now, so stop on by and check it… Continue

when i'm in the grocery store i have to fight the strong urge to kick all the glass jars of juice on the bottom shelf. especially if they are pretty coloured juices, like mango.
anyone else have this problem?
maybe i will make a list instead.
5 things i wish i had the time to do:
1. take new self portraits
2. sew a new dress. or something else for myself instead of for someone else.
3. finish re-reading naked lunch.
4. talk to my best… Continue

I came back to school to find a huge pile of mail outside my door, including zines from Susy Pow, Heather, and Emma Stronach! I just opened them and am super-excited to get to read 'em all. One of my favorite things about this whole zine trading business is getting real mail almost every day. :)
So if anyone wants to trade, I've got a new zine out; it's called "Weird Things We Hang On Our Christmas Tree" and is exactly as it sounds. My older zines are still available as well... leave… Continue

This is a review of Carrots and Condoms on the Xerography Debt blog, posted by librarian666:
"On a personal note, this zine struck a chord of memory with me: that feeling I had just after college, where the working world was so repugnant, so horrible, it drove me mad with despair.
I didn't discover the desire to farm or to somehow create a Portland, OR where I was; I went down in flames of defeat.
So, to you, Coco, you go girl! Keep the passion alive and change… Continue

for those who don't know, this is not your average zine. no interviews or reviews, but just a collection of stories about how i managed to see every single movie that came out during my first year of university... for free, and some other adventures that happened in the movie theatre. comes on glossy paper with pretty sweet illustrations
printed on glossy paper with heavy cover.
