I'm starting a ZINE LIBRARY!! Our town has no idea what a zine is: This needs to change! I'm offically collecting any cool URL'S or samples! Contact me, yo. :D

THE INFINATE ZINE IS BORN: yaa...it's supposed to be spelled that way...:D. Nick (my stinkin' great) boyfriend and I were pretty bummed that our school didn't have a student-publication...no newspaper, no website, no newsletter, no blog, nothing. (*gasp...pretty lame, right?) So you've got me: a little zine-addict who loves to write and totes around a copy of Riot Grrrl dating Nick: a kid who carries around a pen and doodles on everything in sight. Congradulations! You've got a zine. And it's got a nifty title...
INFINATE #1: (Out of print...but I can still make em'!)
Our first one! Yeah! Issued in April, this bad boy is 14 pages and tells ya' all about some unique banana-facts, the band 'Scary Kids Scaring Kids', some adorable (and very well dressed), beans eating ice cream, and always the POP-Quiz, fizzy lemonade recipe, and lots of 'Cupcake and Shake' cartoons. I can always make reprints if you want em'...
INFINATE #2: (AVAILABLE! yee-haw!)
This one was FUN to make! 46 pages, (yeah, a big one...) this one covers a CD review of '3oh!3', a bio of the great Quentin Tarantino, recipe for some yummy mexi-inspired grub, home-grown photography, fact and sketch 'bout a carrot, and the lovable POP-Quiz. Still got a few copies of this one...
INFINATE #3: (BRAND-SPANKIN' NEW! AVAILABLE!)
The SUMMER Edition! Whew! A great one in the making...and a PAR-TAY to go with it! :) This one's a half-pager, as the others are 5.5"x6"...this one's 21 pages of awesome doodles, local concert reviews, musings about like - the best book ever, facts about the nature of raspberries, a neat-o event calander, and some rockin' summer recipes. Might even send this one into Zine-World or The Inlander for reviewing...:). SCORE!

ZINE PAR-TAY!
Yeee-haw! So finally "released" the SUMMER zine last night! Midnight Swim - 9 pm, Oakesdale Pool!
It basically consisted of remembering to put the stack of neon-covered zines of the table that the sound system was on. Man, I had to take a quick break from DJ-ing to snatch em' out of the Blazer.
But it seemed to go over pretty well. Most of the kids that attended the hang-session at the pool were from different schools, so they didn't really know what "the zine" was. (But to us O-town kids, it'… Continue

SUMMER IS HERE!!...(and almost gone)
YES! SCORE! YES!
The long-awaited Summer Edition of The INFINATE Zine is officially DONE! yayyy!! Yeah - having been started at the end of June after all these crazy Fading Anchor concerts, the zine release party will be like a great burst of refreshing energy!

SLEATER-KINNEY. You have no idea. I love these girls so much. And Patti Smith shakes me to the core sometimes. Oh, and Ani Difranco has somehow stollen my soul and spun it into music. Magical.
It's a series for sure. All about these 2% Avian kids that have been genetically modified to have wings and all the issues they have with the scientists who screwed up their DNA and the other mutants. It's AWESOME.

whoaaa! i got one of those SAME folders!! (i got WonderWoman!) yeah, girl-power. :)
i also got a folder with a little hand-drawn monster on it...it says something cute about being smelly. but i think picking up my college-books will be the funnes...
I bought all my school stuff...My folders are so awesome, they all have a different superhero on them (ie wonder woman, batman, etc) in cartoon style.
I cant wait until school.
