agnes briggs: fairy tale stories
inspired: 30 days of rampage (coming soon!)

hello! my name is Ashley, i live in hicksville, usa [otherwise known as central FL], i'm 25 years old. i write, confiscate, collect, and daydream.
the entire month of august was spent writing, editing, illustrating [with the help of Jenny Archibald], photocopying, and binding agnes briggs issue 1. i plan on making a 2nd issue sometime in the future.

i'm in the beginning stages of 2 separate projects right now: a 30-day zine called "inspired", where for an entire month i write snippets of thoughts/short stories/memories. each page marks a different day. it's messy and fun. the other zine is based around some of the original 1930's Ripley's Believe it or Not newspaper clippings i confiscated from my grandmother. should be interesting.
if you are interested in trading zines, LET ME KNOW! i'm interested in all kinds of zines, but especially anything like imaginative short stories, art, fairy tales and zines to do with life-altering personal experiences.
i love old literature, stationary [or anything paper really], yarn, black and white movies, snail mail, vaginal music, lowercase letters, and much much more.
message me if you want to talk zines, are a good drawer and would like to help illustrate my fairy tale zine, or if you just want to talk. i'm a nice person.

what i'm working on
hello! okay, so i'm pretty new to the zine scene, but i've been working on zine #1 (well, it's still a work-in-progress). my goal is to have it finished before the Fall semester starts, but we'll see.
i only have one friend in the zine-world [well, more of an acquaintance, really], and i'm on here in hopes to find more. i'd really like to trade zines with people, review others work and give and receive feedback. i'm really new to this, so constructive criticism would be nice. but we'll see.
