Hello there, I'm Mikofanclub! I am very excited to be joining this online community. My “real” name is Tim Hilton and I’ve self-published a few zines in the last 10 years, usually in collaboration with other artists. One of my other personas “Miko” is a shy, glamorous mute with a ghostly pallor, into platform shoes, severe bob haircuts and fishnet stockings. She likes to think she can commune with the gods through her kooky spirit dance. This is Miko...

Miko’s name was inspired by a lost name tag found on a train and passed on by a friend. “Mikofanclub” is the adopted name of an anonymous Internet user commenting on one of Miko’s online photos. I liked the sound of it and out of homage to shy little Miko, who has a very special place in my heart, I decided to use it.

Most of these Zines were made to accompany visual arts exhibitions and served as a kind of Claytons catalogue.
I come form a visual arts background, majoring in installation and interdisciplinary studies. That means sound/performance/text/video/photography/installation/sculpture focus jack (*jill?) of all trades - master of none - dipping into lots of areas.
ATM I've been inspired by Zina Kook to get back into doing zines. I'm also very into making music (loops/noize based), drag, photography, hulahooping, perfomance art, creating sound for performance and playing with my MY NEW KITTEN MOMO!
My performance partner Sari Kivinen and I work under the name of screwsLoose. Yes we have a few screws loose and we don't mind a loose screw.
Please add me if any or all of this sounds interesting to you.

Will struggle to get the trash mag zine ready in time for the MCA but never fear I am going to give it a red hot go! I think I'll revert to an easier Plan B instead of the photo shoot. Cross your bits and pieces for me hon. xxxxx
Wonderful - I look forward to your submission!
I may need a willing volunteer for photo I need to take for my celebrity trash mag zine? Interested?
