My most recent zine is from last year. It's called Mute as Bottles. It's a personal zine about political work, protest, police & fear, based around the APEC summit in Sydney last year. (And it now comes with a handy appendix for people for whom that reference means nothing). 32 A6 pages.

I also recently found a few old copies of some very old zines & decided enough time has passed to let them be seen in public again.

Postconsumer waste #1 is a stolen-text heavy collage with a winged seahorse on the front, from early 2001. 28 A5 pages.

Postconsumer waste #3 is about a friend's suicide, the question of community & the collective project of finding ways to live, & also about anti-war graffiti, protests & dancing. 48 A6 pages.

Any is $2 in Australia money from me, or trade (which is better).

I've published other personal zines over the years with names including Flightpath, Please to be restful it is only a few crazies who have from the crazy place outbroken & XYZ.

I'm also part of a collective that publishes a free monthly anarchist news zine, Mutiny. Recent issues are available as .pdfs here.

I recommend Black Rose Anarchist Library & Books for anyone visiting Sydney.

I live at Sydney's least exclusive zine address:
PO Box 4

Hello friend of Sticky. If you have made a zine recently, are still reprinting old copies of a zine, have old copies lying around or are thinking of making zine, we want you to stock it with us! If you haven't stocked with us before, here's how you do it. Visit our website (www.stickyinstitute.com) and download a stockists form. Fill it out and send it with up to ten copies of your zine to Sticky, P.O. Box 310, Flinders Lane, VIC 8009. We have them on the shelves for 6 months at which time, if they've sold out we'll pay you and if they haven't totally sold out we'll pay you for the copies you have sold and send the remaining copies back to you or donate them to the Exchange Box. To those of you have stocked with us previously, keep sending us your zines! Zine culture is alive and kicking in Australia and Sticky is an ardent defender of zine culture!
Love from Sticky!

Ciao Lousie, I'm writing here so we don't bother other people. I only want to point out a couple of things: 1) when I wrote "historically..." I was generalising of course. I was considering big trends in the whole history of zine making; 2) As I wrote in my other comments, I'm all for diversity and tolerance. That's why I wrote about one side trying to impose its own opinions on the other. Anyway thank you for giving me new perspectives on the subject.

hey - wow, i made that one ages ago! I'd love to send you #10 if you have an address to send it to (is it the PO box 4 a lot of people use in enmore or am I confusing you? I can't remember). It's a $1 to my po box or we could do a trade at some point. Both good.
