hey there :)
I'm twenty two, living in the San Francisco area. I've had 4 different addresses in the past year, so I am a bit of a nomad. (Please email/message me before sending me something.. just to be sure you have the right address) I'm currently studying interior design at a private art school in SF. I don't think i'm half as pretentious as a lot of my classmates though! I'm femme, I'm queer, and I probably don't fit into a lot of your ideals about a zinester. I've been in the zine scene for a couple of years now producing zines under various names. My most recent zines are The Greatest of Heights and 21

i never imagined i would turn this zine into a series.. but dundundundun, i did!!

amandaaaa said… - hey, were you interested in still doing the chain zine? i've cut the joining at 21 people and am now in the process of getting everyone's addresses together to get the chain started and sent off to the first person.
each person will get a half size page to fill. the theme is chosen by the person who receives the zine before you, but it's optional whether you want to follow it or not.
keep in mind:
people from multiple countries are involved in this (postage costs).
to keep it moving at a decent pace, it would be great if everyone sent it on within 2 weeks of receiving it.
if you want to be in, send me an email (ilikethestart @ yahoo.com) with your mailing address so i can add it to the list. if you don't want your address listed for everyone to see, let me know and i can just use your email instead. the person before you will just have to contact you for where to send the zine on to.

tape is such a good topic. i used electrical tape to secure your zine for mailing. it's not too expensive. you can buy it at hardware stores. It comes in a large variety of colors and some even come enclosed in a plastic case.
