eek eek

i love reading zines of all kinds and getting mail. i used to make my own zines (option paralysis). now i stick to reading them, but sometimes i still want to interview my friends for a zine.
things i like a lot: sleep, coffee, hugs, reading books and zines (in bed, at the dentist, and in break rooms), veggie hot dog eating contests, making soup, stories, dogs, sewing, and riding my bike.
what do you like to do?

I'll be there July 27 and 28. I know it's tough to get people to come out on a Monday or Tuesday.

I'm being snubbed by Austin's bookstores so I guess there won't be a reading. Still, if you'd like to meat up for ice cream or something let me know.

Wow! Thanks for all those suggestions! That's really helpful. A few follow up questions: If I were to try to do a reading in Austin, is Book People my best bet? Is there a some little punk hole-in-the-wall that would be better? Would you be interested in reading with me? It would be at the end of July.

Hello! I'm going to be coming to Austin at the end of July. It seems like maybe we have similar interests, could you give me some suggestions for what to do when I'm there? Good book stores? Vegan friendly restaurants? Good sunset-watching parks?

I wish I had known you when I lived in Austin! I was going to go to library school there, but life plans changed. Good to have you as a zine friend now.
