New Project - Display! Command! Retreat! Zine

Display! Command! Retreat! is a zine still in its embryonic stages. I have written many zines, most of which never got to the printing stage. After a trip to Ladyfest Manchester and attending a workshop on zine production, it gave me the kick up the arse to start making them again....and this time finishing it! D!C!R! will be a general zine with a feminist underbelly, and i shall be looking for submissions from people very soon. I aim to keep the zine as basic as possible, to minimise cost and go back to my DIY roots. Brownie points are awarded to anybody who knows which song the title comes from!
Also i plan to start a small distro, mainly because the (East) Midlands seems to be lacking in this field so if any zine makers from the midlands or across the UK fancy getting involved give me a shout!
