this could use an update, right? haven't been around WMZ that much lately, mainly due to having to divide my time between my crappy job, training classes on Photoshop, procrastinating on Facebook (you know what i mean!), and reading a bit, zines and books (not as many as i would like though). not much money to spend on zines anymore, because of the crisis, and, again, my crappy job that doesn't pay that much for me to live large and such......

i've been (slowly) working on a ~~first~~ zine and i'm looking for places to read about what zine-making is like these days, and also looking looking for fellow zinesters to exchange ideas (and in the future, zines maybe?), contributors to future zines, etc etc...

there are so many things that interest me, that it would fill 2 pages with topics hehe!
anyway, i sign up for Ning in the first place, because of this community.

a few of the things that interest me:
zines, fanzines, art, music, literature, cinema, magazines, books, artist journals, sketchbooks, comics, gothic culture, graphic novels, vampires, photography, vintage, collections, stamps, street art, guerrilla art, handmade crafts, paper crafts, design, graphic design, typography, fashion, photoshop, printing, diy, etc...

right now , i seem to be the only one from Portugal here at WMZ and that feels kinda lonely, you know? ;-(. i wish there could be more Portuguese folks in here. if you're Portuguese and i didn't found you before here on WMZ, feel free to comment on my page!

2011 has been declared the Revenge of Print, because we're all tired of "the end of publishing as we know it" stories. Revenge of Print is a campaign to get as many people as possible to self-publish in 2011!
