Who wants to get random things in the mail?

I tend to be very...uhm... sentimental? Well, I find it really difficult to let go of things even if i dont particularly need or want them anymore. So in the process of letting my stuff go, and to make it easier for me (knowing someone else will use/see/get them... give me your address and I'll send you something... from old clippings, to illustrations i find interesting, anatomy and biology books, nursing handbooks, old collages, craft supplies, studs and spikes, etc.

New Project: NYMPHOIDS' SURVIVAL GUIDE

Posted on January 17, 2009 at 8:36pm 12 Comments

So because I've already finished my 2nd story a while back (still awaiting publication), I've decided to start on a new project. It's Nymphoids' Survival Guide. It should be a survival guide for girls (inside and out :P, no discrimination here loves!), including some fashion guides and DIY projects to look amazingly awesomely cool without breaking the bank, boy/girl problems, school/work stress, and everything about us girls/ladies/ women! XD from stories to advice to photos or original artwork… Continue

Nymphoids: Disambiguation

Posted on January 17, 2009 at 8:25pm 0 Comments

Okay, so before I tell you about my new project, someof you might be wondering why I call my zine and almost everything Nymphoid(s). Well, when I was trying to think of a name for my first zine, I was at first cinsidering more generic names... since it was a heart break series... i was thinking of cheesy names... but you see, that isn't like me at all. I like metphores, hidden meanings and such things...

So I was like, I need somethign that can represent everything that I will write… Continue

Hello there! How are you? I just came across your page, and if you don't mind I'd love to send you a letter! Or, at the very least, I'm also interested in purchasing a copy of your zine! Well, that's all for now! Hope you have a great evening!

Just wondering if the zine I contributed to has been completed. (The broad theme was being drunk, I believe.) Can't wait to read it. Do I still get a contributor's copy? If so, let me know if you need my mailing address.

hello!
whip is basically the first zine i've ever made and in it are pictures and poetry (and a couple of short short stories) that my friends have done - it's just an outlet for people who write. i'm sure you know how hard it is sometimes for people to see your work - and i think it's a really good thing to have loads of different writers together, to play off each other's ideas and just to make a group of people who are writing because we CAN. our next issue is going in a slightly different direction - its creative theme is far stronger and we're hoping to make hundreds of copies to go up and down the country (and to other countries! - i have friends in berlin and aix-en-provence...) so we get more exposure and as such more people are encouraged to write. oh, and if you want to contribute then you're more than welcome - short short stories (600 words-ish, it's an a6 zine) or poetry on the theme of living in places.

your nymphoids survival guide sounds so good! i'd love to see it when it comes out!
to get a copy of whip we do trades really - if you want to trade anything - zines, mail art, postcards - you know, all the lovely ephemera, then let me know and we can trade! what's your first zine about?
excellent.
