Profile Information

First of all, I'm a mother & wife. I'm a feminist & nursing student. I write a lot. I have a perzine called YARNTEA! and it discusses... whatever I want to discuss. I'm especially proud of my project that I completed for the 24 Hour Zine Thing this year. It's called "Attack Panic" and it's about my mental health and little tips of dealing with my panic attacks. I LOVE ZINE TRADES! Shoot me an e-mail, and I'd love to trade with you. crochetsrebellion[GMAIL]. Anything with a feminist slant thrills me, and I really like mental health zines.

Love:
Homeschooling. Tea. History books. Baking. Postcards. Crocheting. Crocheting A LOT. Typewriters. Homebirths. Breastfeeding. Maria Montessori.Unschooling. My Hermes 3000. Pen pals. Riot grrl. Mental health & momma zines.

Hate:
Panic disorders. Negativity. Apathy.

Get in touch. I love new friends!

YARNTEA! Life & Times of a Stressypants

Numero uno. I wrote this while on a mini-vacation in Atlanta. A bit of my background & bits and pieces about anxiety.

YARNTEA THREE

This one's all about New Years! It's got my resolutions, a bit of a hypochondriac's worries and lots of New Years info. Recipes, history, etc etc. It's New Years-tastic! :D

attack panic!

This is a zine I did for this 2010 24 Hour Zine Thing. It's about anxiety and a boatload of coping skills are listed- the things I do when I'm having a rough time. It's pretty awesome.

Hey! Thanks for getting in touch. What did you have in mind? A trade or something? "attack panic!" sounds like something I wouldn't mind reading. If I mail stuff early next week it would probably arrive before the 5th. let me know!
