if i was going to post "whatever help [i] have for [you]," it would be helpful to first know what kind of help you are looking for! so my first tip: be specific about what you actually want people to do for you.
i don't follow. "zine idea?" or actual zine? & people will need an address if they are going to send you zines. & tips about what, specifically? building the website? running a distro? i am confused.
yeah, you can check out all their stuff at robertsstreet.org. for the rest of the week, they are doing an event that is like a museum thing, looking at the knickknacks co-founder sonia has collected over the last twenty years. she is about to move...

i have always thought of "mini zines" as being small one-shot zines. like someone has their regular zine that they do & then they decide they want to write this one particular story about their grandmother or something, so they do a little one-sho...
the alphabet issue is less of a problem when the zines are divided up by letter. it's easier for me to navigate distro sites that are split into, like, A-D, E-J, K-O, etc, than when it's just page after page of reviews that, yes, may be in alphabe...

i am ciara xyerra. i just moved to lawrence, kansas with my cat (charlotte) & my boyfriend (jared). before that, i lived in boston for eight years, & i lived in portland, oregon for two years before that.
in 2003, i started learning to leave a paper trail zine distro, which currently has almost 200 zines in stock. i like personal zines with a political edge to them, about d.i.y., radicalism, feminism, & more.
zines i have written include "up the logic punks!" (logic puzzles about zines, punk, & anarchists), "love letters to monsters," "you ive for the fight when that's all that you've got," & "a renegade's handbook to love & sabotage" (all personal zines). i have been involved with more zines than this, but we'll just leave it here for now.
i could write up a whole zine-related resume, i guess, but most of it is already up on the "about me" page of the distro site.
