i write the zine black carrot

The first zine I wrote was before I even really saw a zine. It was called CONSUME and my best friend and I put it out in 1993. We were in the 7th grade. We just hated our school and everyone in it. Then by way of that, got into other zines and reviews and factsheet five and all sorts of things. Many stamps and years later, I write the zine Black Carrot. I still write a zine because I have no reason to stop.
Black Carrot has been in production since 2003. Still going strong. Other zines I've made:
Consume (1992-1993)
Dresspants (1993-1998)
Chown/Unspoken Microfleem (1999-1999)
Standing Behind Me (2002-2003)]
Black Carrot (2003 - forever)

One Shots:
How I Learned To Love Myself and Occasionally Other Men (2003-yes) two issues out.. get 'em.

..if you want any of these zines let me know. I'll probably have 'em handy.

Black Carrot #14 will be out soon! It is going to be a big mega huge killer issue.. This issue's theme is: 50 Short Stories.

Has anyone else done this?

So I have been on a new project. I am reading / recording every issue of my zine into an mp3. I want to either a) archive it b) sell it on iTunes c) let it be available for download/listen.

It's like zines for the blind!

I have a mic and a program and I just read each issue, cover to cover. I want to do all #12 issues of Black Carrot but so far have two issues done. I will put them online soon!

Anyone else doing this? I can release CDs or albums or something! New medium. Zines on tape! iZines… Continue
