About Me

I'm a school librarian, and I've been making zines for about nine years. My latest zine is Say Hello to Your Friends, a tribute to the Baby-sitters Club. I have an Etsy shop called Welsh Rabbit where I also sell a perzine, Winsome & Wise, and Scatter Gram, a serial zine about library school. I'm open to trades.

Scatter Gram No. 5

Posted on January 2, 2010 at 2:24pm 0 Comments

I braved the arctic wind to make copies of Scatter Gram 5 today! They're all ready to go. I'm so happy I've been able to keep this zine going and put it out on a regular basis. I'll probably just do one more issue after this, though, because it's all about being in library school and I'm set to graduate in June.

New zines

Posted on September 15, 2009 at 9:31pm 0 Comments

I finished and/or printed three new zines this week! Scatter Gram No. 4 is the latest of my library school journal zines. 'Ciuschidda' is a one shot quarter-size zine that tells the story of my grandpa’s nickname for me, and how I found out what it meant years after he died. And Winsome & Wise is a cut-n-paste perzine that's hopefully the start of something I'll continue for a while. They are all available in my etsy shop, http://welshrabbit.etsy.com.

awesome! I got yours a few days ago, but just read it today, because I got caught up with finals.

I really enjoyed it :) It was very interesting and whimsical. I loved the part about a best friend, I could not relate more! my only best friend is my boyfriend, really, since all my girl friends left after high school. they're still good friends, but it's not the same as having someone close by to call on the phone and rant about things and to take silly pictures and make zines! I'd hoped I'd find someone like that in university, it seems like that sort of place, but not so far. I'm still hoping!

anyway, it's a great little zine! I really hope you enjoy mine.
