"Hello, we have been running zine workshops down here in South Africa for the past year and a half but we not sure if we are doing it all right. Is there a specific formula for running zine workshops? Are there rules on what NOT do when running a…"
Since we are a small shop / library we want to set up a consignment agreement.
The deal we have made with the other publishers is a (((( 20 / 80 )))) deal ( 20% commission to Batteri). The seller (YOU) will cover the shipping(postal costs). Every 3rd month we tally up what we have sold, send you a reciept of what we have sold and transfer funds via paypal.
Our plan with BATTERI is to have a constant buzz around it hosting events , small lectures and DOshops to get alot of people to see what we have on our walls and buy something to have in their homes.
If we have not sold the zines within half a year the seller( YOU ) can choose to get the zines back (which we would pay for) or we keep the zines in our store And create ZINE lucky packets.( Sale prices to be discussed)
If anything in this proposal is a deal breaker we would be able to change it up.
so as to create a win win win for us all.
ps. send me links to what you have made. gives us a good idea of what to pull into BAtteri for Sale.
