+It would really suck for the first line of this to be, "I Make Zines."
+I'm in a band, we're called The Rehab Rats - right now, we're socializing new members. To hear our old stuff, myspace us.
+I really like primitive instruments and making them out of free things.
+In the near future, I hope to go into extreme isolation and perhaps go temporarily insane.
+Don't go into the woods at night.
Punk Rock (its many sub-genres) - Bluegrass - Gangsta Rap - Hip Hop - Blues - Rockabilly - Country - etc - etc - etc
POPulation Control - I printed it for free in printing class, and even got a grade on it. It was b/w half size and 16 pages. It was a basic fanzine covering what little of the scene I believed it. It had a few music reviews, a show review, a steakhouse review, a poem, a short story, some rants, and crap like that. I passed it around town with some free CDs.
Don't Drink Our Water - it was also printed for free in printing class. In purple in on natural card stock. Only one issue was done. It was similar in content to POPulation Control, but lacked the creative writing and was more of a one page newsletter.
Small Town Pessimism - It ran for three issues. They were done in various formats, but they were all done with only one piece of paper per issue. I had to pay for the production of this. b/w photocopied. It concerned what was wrong with the area, focusing most on the music scene. I think there are some past issues up on stpessimism.blogspot.com. Also, during this time, I made a one shot pamphlet called "Bottle Rocket Wars" to hand out to rednecks on Independence Day.
All I really do is make crappy punk zines, give them out for free, get drunk, stop making them, then make them again.
I'm now in the process of making a half sized zine called "Fuck".
