Cheers!

My name is Veriria and I've been playing on the internet back when it was just bulletin boards and external modems. However, I somehow totally missed out on Zines somehow. Born in 1982, I've been a child of the computer since around age 5. My father was one of the privileged few (because he was in high management) to get the first commercially available computers, laptop computers, the BRICKS (cellphones) and all that throughout his career with his job at Amtrak. I don't know what I did to piss him off so much, but he got me a job with the same company, and now I sell over-priced cheese pizzas and cans of pop in the cafe car on trains 391/392 and 364/365. I work three days and I'm off two...

And I have to say, I'm finally working on my first zine :O Go me!

Oh yeah, thats me in the middle of my profile picture. I perform as Frank-N-Furter with my local Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast, Help Me Mommy! If you live in the NW Indiana area, we'd love to have you join us! Every Saturday night at midnight is when we perform of course, you can look the cast up on Myspace or helpmemommy.com.

I finished my very first zine!

I am excited to finally have made one. After reading lots and lots of zines, I had decided (long ago) that I wanted to make one...But I never did. I don't know where the inspiration came from, but I finally started it while at work on the train the other day. For some reason it took making neat-o layouts for the text to get me to actually do the writing. For some odd reason I couldn't "prepare" what I wanted to write about. Thats why my zine is sort of a mix of completely random and unrelated… Continue

I would love to trade for your very first zine, if you are interested. I have a list of my available zines on my page. Three of them are all poetry, and one is about half poetry and half my experiences during a month long work exchange at a retreat in rural Kansas. Let me know.
