Cough. started as an art and hardcore zine in 2004 and has now evolved into a DIY guide out of the Bay Area. You can grab a copy of the newest issue here!: www.cough.etsy.com

I am also doing a split zine with Jethro from Threat n Ink about running into celebrities, we need stories too! If you have a story, please send it on over!

Cool. I'm so sorry it didn't work out. I just didn't anticipate how much effort having a job would be after 10+ years as a full time mom.

Send me you address, and I'll mail you a copy of the full block printing zine in trade for you DIY zine and you can decide if you want to use any of the material for your next zine.

Hi Tina;
I was just coming here to message you. I'm in Canada so if i mailed the article to you, you wouldn't get it in time (our mail is often up to two weeks.) If you don't mind waiting, I can mail it today, or as soon as I get your address. I"ll "friend" you so you can send it privately if you don't want to post it. Alternatively, I could scan and email you a pdf if that would work. If not, then I'm really sorry especially if I've held this up for you.

Hi Tina, I should have some time to get something together for you. I was looking at what I have. It is in a zine, but I might have to rework it a bit so that it would work outside the context of the whole zine. I should have it done in a few days.

Hi, thanks for the prompt. I haven't been online much lately. IRL taking over. When do you need the submissions by? I won't have time to even think about anything else until after the end of June. If you can wait until July-August, I think I could get something together.

Let me know okay,

In 2008, my partner and I decided we'd go on the zombie shuffle with my 3 year old son in tow. We took a sign reading 'family feast', my partner dressed up as an ebola zombie, I dressed up as a mad scientist who had been experimenting with zombie eugenics and my son sat in his pram, with a little fake blood and carried a bone. I don't think my son really understood what was going on, but it was a nice day for a stroll through the city with him anyway. The zombie shuffle finished at Crown Casino where we decided we would take my son to see his first ever movie on the big screen, 'Speed Racer'. He got restless every 20 or 30 minutes throughout the movie and needed to be taken out of the theatre into the foyer coninuously. The first time or two, I happily obliged.. the third, my partner took my son out whilst I continued to watch the movie.. My partner and son sat outside the theatre in the foyer for a while and watched people come and go, then a man who had seemingly just woken up and was perhaps a little intoxicated stumbled out and asked if they had seen a small boy and a woman leave the cinema.. my partner thought they'd gone to the toilet.. so the man joined them for a while and chatted about life and kids, then wandered off.. a nearby group of girls stopped the man.. "OMG!! Are you Nicholas Cage?" "Can we take a photo with you?" It was, and that's how my son met Nicholas Cage on his first ever trip to the movies, and as an added bonus whilst dressed as a zombie.

I could write a story for you about my son running into Nicholas Cage at the movies in Melbourne, Australia.. I've read two of your zines so far, I think they are great! :) Rock On, lilloulouRIOT

Thankyou so much for the package you sent me. Your paper selection was indeed awesome :-). I liked the note "the toilet has been running jiggle the handle" he he. And your exam papers and revision cards also cool. Thanks again. Can't wait to get started now. :-P

Hi Tina, Sticky Institute would really like to stock your zine if you're interested. To do so, just download and fill out the stockists form from our website and fill in the contact and pricing details (taking into account the exchange rate). Send them to us at P.O. Box 310, Flinders Lane, Melbourne, Vic 8009, Australia. We will have them on the shelves for 6 months at which point if there are any that haven't sold we will either return them to you or you can choose to put them in the exchange box. We also take a 20% commission to help run the store. Your zine about running into celebrities sounds especially awesome, so be sure to send that along as well when you finish that.
Look forward to seeing your zines in our post box.
From Melissa and Sticky.
