I travelled from London to Brighton on Saturday, picking some friends up on the way, to go to my first ever zine related event.
Hannover Community Centre had a great feel to it, very village hall-like.
The main room downstairs was packed! We placed our mix CD in the box and went round all the different stalls. It was amazing to see the wide variety of zines available, right from DIY through to professional books.

Last night I finally put the the finishing touches to my first ever zine.

It is a collection of songs/lyrics/poems/stories/experiences and artwork.

effective because short and terse...:)
short story...good 'cause solid beginning/middle/end...good climax
but the usual kind of youth...drift/angst/music/drugs/disaster...loss
of lex...plotting...good sentences though...tarz...and the episodes
of ...car-theft/car-care thereafter nicely written...
