Brighton Zinefest 2010

I travelled from London to Brighton on Saturday, picking some friends up on the way, to go to my first ever zine related event.

Hannover Community Centre had a great feel to it, very village hall-like.

The main room downstairs was packed! We placed our mix CD in the box and went round all the different stalls. It was amazing to see the wide variety of zines available, right from DIY through to professional books.

Phoenixii Zine - Issue One

Last night I finally put the the finishing touches to my first ever zine.

It is a collection of songs/lyrics/poems/stories/experiences and artwork.

I really wanted to make my first zine and I am happy I have managed to complete it. Now comes the printing. I was going to attempt to covertyl copy it at work but do not think this is going to be practical as the areas are too open and people will see what I am…
