I've been out of the zine community for a while...
I used to run All That Glitters Zine Distro in the UK and have published a couple of zines. Hopefully I'll make another soon!

Hi,
Yeah, I go to Nottingham Uni and just got elected as Women's Officer for next year :) I was having a nosy round on the internet to see what I could dig on past activities and spotted your name with Nottingham and that you'd been on NUS Women's Campaign committee and I knew I recognised it from somewhere, and sure enough it was the same name as the person who'd run All That Glitters so thought I'd see if it was the same person! It's a ridiculously small world, because following a long dull story it's your distro that was the reason I discovered zines, and that's the reason I got interested in feminism, and therefore no doubt ever thought to want to go for Women's Officer! Not sure how much time I'm going to have for the distro next year though :( Hoping to put on an zine event in the SU in a couple of weeks with Alex Wrekk (who writes Brainscan and Stolen Sharpie Revolution?) which should be really cool if it works out. Anyways, yes, hi! Yay for distro running, going to Nottingham Uni and being involved with the women's group!

Hey, I ordered from All That Glitters a few times, wonderful distro. This is going to be the weirdest question ever, but I don't suppose you went to Nottingham Uni and were involved in the Women's Campaign there at all were you??
