For those interested in zines as tools for social change, whether in terms of zine content itself, instituting zine collections in public libraries, teaching zine workshops, or other activities.
In November zine fest Hawaii will be having a zine workshop, of which I will be helping to moderate. I really want to get people in Hawaii (and women in specific, since this is Girlfest) excited about the zine as a medium. SO, if any body on We Ma...

What is SO NAILS about
So Nails is a zine from Honolulu Hawaii that deals mainly with music and trying to vitalize the slagging lame underground scene here in Honolulu. Like any number of "punk" zines, I interview bands, review records...but I try to go for either very obscure and raw sounds, punk, the less bro-crew contingents of hardcore, the more structured noise sounds that don't rely on laptops, free jazz, dub reggae, early rock n' roll, blues etc..
