I think by late summer I will be much more in the swing of zines again, but right now just spending a ton of time on fundraising and administrative things, plus teaching my class. Its great! But I don't check this place often , and I don't want to lose touch with this community. You are all more than… Continue

and you can find me on Twitter, Facebook, and at www.slumgullion.org...oh and many of the zines depicted in our photo album are available for trade or sale, just send me an email.. or a twitter.. or a facebook...or.....i'm posting really late at night so this is as coherent as it gets. But I am excited to be here, and to spend many hours perusing people's pages. I'm trying to build a zine library, but am utterly poor, so trading and donations of zines, books, comics, etc are eagerly accepted.

Did I ever send you any of my poetry zines? If not, please tell me and remind me of your address and i will get some stuff out to you ASAP! I never received anything from the Rapid Memo Typing Service, but I would still love to read whatever you are able to send.

I read your posting about doing a classroom zine swap. I've just started designing the zine curriculum for my students and am interested in looking at your student's zines and possibly using them as examples for my students. Would this be possible? Also I was wondering if you knew any resources for teachers teaching zines?

Thanks, Dorrie

wow, I am really digging the Bookmobile and everything else you do. I'd love to see you in Seattle if you ever make it up here. Have you ever read "Parnassus on Wheels"? Nice little book about bookmobiles, check it out if you haven't already.

I really enjoyed looking at your photo slide show.

What's up with the people with the typewriters and the long rolls of paper?
