About Me:
I produce community arts projects for a living(grant writing, that kind of jazz), co-curated an exhibition in 2004 about Australian alternative comics with Leigh Rigozzi which toured to 4 Australian states, and make comics/zines with very small print runs because i'm shy when it comes to my own work.
For 2009/10 I am one of the Co-directors of Australia's National Young Writers' Festival, part of the coalition of festivals known as This is Not Art, which happens in Newcastle, Australia, and hosts Australia's largest and most influential zine fair.

Being from Tassie (but now living in Melbourne) I'm always curious about who is making zines and relying on the postal/internet based nature of much of the zine community. I just think anyone who has to travel at least three hours to get to a zine...
Group for teachers and folks that like to help other people learn how to make zines. Share info about lesson plans, projects, workshops, classes, good resources and books, grants, and other teaching-related stuff.
