I'm learning to 'story board'

It's okay to draw stuff like I do but I'm learning to compose a line of action. I picked up this book on Manga, Manga Drawing Kit. Thumbnails, panels in action. The book recommends sketching the particulars then turning the sequence of events into a panel. Exciting. It's a lot more than just drawing something which is all I ever had done. So, I'll get back to the blog once I develop something smooth to copy. My progress has been really slowy evolving. But, that's okay.See More

What the F happened to Mad Magazine?

So I see a copy of Mad Magazine because I'm a courier and I'm forever picking up people's mail. The same day I head to the supermarket (I buy more food than I can use) and I see the Mad is costing 5.99 an issue. I'm like crazy. Back in the day this thing was black and white. Now it's a color thing. I'm lost. I guess these things sell. Go figure. Anyway, I'm still working on my brochure on drug use. Not getting very far with it. I'm learning to 'story board'

It's okay to draw stuff like I do but I'm learning to compose a line of action. I picked up this book on Manga, Manga Drawing Kit. Thumbnails, panels in action.
