Printaissance Issue #4 is out!

...well a little belated. I actually got it ready for release at the tail end of August, but have been too busy to actually post about it. Well, here it is! The fourth issue is a socio-political lit zine which uses historical accounts, modern day headlines, poetry, angry hippie insights and more to compile this ranty look at the parallels in the fall of Rome and the looming fall of the 'American'…See More

Zero Hour : Printaissance Special Edition / 24hr. Zine Thing 2011

Posted on July 4, 2011 at 10:46pm 0 Comments

Zero Hour is unlike the other issues of Printaissance in some very key ways, while remaining true to some of the style and format that has made Printaissance so popular among ones of readers. A very random mix of rants, musings, poems, Dr. Who trivia/game and oh so much more that all came together in under 24 to meet the deadline for the 24hr. Zine Thing 2011.

Just like all Printaissance issues there is a two page ‘centerfold’, this one contains a timeline of the construction of the…

Printaissance Issue #3 is here!

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 3:06pm 0 Comments

The third issue of my zine Printaissance is cut, pasted, and ready for consumption! Once again this is a per/lit zine mixing personal anecdotes, original poetry, and some truly personal insights into my writing and the muses that guide my pen to fill the chapters of this new issue. It is titled This is for my Muses and is focused on those literary inspirers of the written word!

Issue 3 (26 half page pages / available strictly for trade)

Hi Rob, I'm probably doing a little letters section in my next issue of Shards of Glass In Your Eye and I'm wondering if I can use the comment you left me as a letter.  If so, let me know if I can use your name or if you want a pseudonym or what.  Thanks!

Hi Rob. I got the "pot issue" of Printaissance yesterday. I was impressed with the way you summed up some of the major points about marijuana facts, and I think people could learn a lot about the topic just from your zine. I also liked: "Is this a breaking point? Or just another broken joint?" It's an interesting reflection on perspective. And when you agreed that marijuana is a "gateway drug" (on the information level at least), I thought that was very provocative. The personalized note page was a nice touch!
