Pre-cycled paper, anyone?
Hey there! With the Chicago Zinefest coming up, I thought that now would be a good time to see if anyone wants to use some pre-cycled paper for their zines.I have a stack (probably about 1000 sheets) of paper that only has print on the top two inches of the page, and another stack (about another 1000 sheets) with print that takes up almost an entire side of a page.I was thinking that these would work for pocket-sized zines, since after you fold them up you're only using one side of a piece of…See More

Hi there!
Although I answer to a slew of names, you may wish to refer to me as Rachel or Rey Rey.
I began my humble zine-writing career in 2007 with my "perzine" Stream of Consciousness and have since produced two issues.
A more ambitious project has consisted of my publishing the graphic design-y zine of a late friend of mine who never got the chance, simply called "The Zine."
My most recent zine doesn't really have a name, although the word "purge" is written all over the cover, which is indicative of the vomit-themed content (both literal and metaphorical).
All of these zines are available at Quimby's, located in Chicago, or via snail mail. Hit me up!

- Hey Rey Rey! Thanks for getting in touch about Ephemera. Since this year's event will have rapid fire performances, I'm not sure a band would work since it will take some time to set up and the spots are only 5 minutes long. But acoustic sets? Solo stuff?
