Life After Issue 3

Issue 3 honestly was very draining but I think I want to continue writing.  I'm already thinking of ideas but am also just trying to relax.  Also trying to promote issue 3 so if you're interested, or know of someone that might be, by all means let me know.  I'm hoping issue 4 might delve more into some of the doom or misanthropic elements issue 3 had in "Castles of Detritus".See More

zine 3 still in production

sorry zine issue 3 is taking a while.  It's longer than normal and I am mainly working on it when I feel inspired.  The last article is challenging and sometimes I feel it is not very cohesive and/or I'm grabbing at straws.  It will eventually be out.  It's not too far from being done.  I am just trying to get it exactly the way I want it, along with providing accurate research and documentation.

Outsider Industries currently has two Zines in circulation. RUIN is an abstract horror Zine featuring several storylines intertwined between broken text and non narrative random designs, at certain times I completely forgot what I was doing and gave up entirely then returned to spoil everything with even more oddities. The next is Outsider Industries which features artists, musicians, interviews, ads for underground and DIY artists and outlets, and many other random things. In 2016 we plan on regularly releasing two more Zines on a monthly basis, One featuring fiction contributions and the other a collaborative effort for a DIY movie effort! -KHVLT

I LOOOOVED your zine!  I made you up an envelope and posted it (wisebloods, weird new jersey etc)  and then when I got home last night I kicked back and read arcane angle. (to and e.t.a. Hoffman symphony!)   it is such a great zine.  probably the best zine out there as far as its subject matter is.  funny though.  I wrote a letter to you before I read your zine (wrote it in the car driving a chick around . . . i'll tell you about her in my letter . . . weirdo!)  . . . and I was asking you if you read Huysmanns . . .  and then that evening i'm reading about him in your zine.  I thought that was awesome!   have you looked at the art of felician ropps?   huysmann's introduced me to it and I think you'll dig it.

I wrote you out some pages on music . . . stuff I really dig.  I won't write any more here because I sent a letter.  but I sure enjoy acane angle . . . it really made my night. you got me on a roll.  I stayed up way too late re-reading arcane angle, then studied on it some,  and then started to re-read Strindberg's "from an occult diary b/w  inferno."

there just ain't no zine out there like yours.  and thanks for the wonderful review.

you keep it up!

yeah . . . i'll send you on the weird n.j.  . . . it's really great.

i'll send a wiseblood and most definaetly make a list of weird stuff.   yeah!  lots and lots of weird psychedelia.

but there's also some weird fucking rockabilly.

check out hazil adkins when you can . . . he was a trip!

will send you a package when I can . . .

thanks again!

the question i asked is not about mourning in cemeteries. it is about grief rituals that we do, they can take place anywhere. the zine will focus on cemetery art and death culture.

Okay Paul.  I'll get another package together and mail it out tomorrow.  I have no idea what could have happened.  But no problem.  I don't mind sending another.

Paul,

If it hasn't arrived by tomorrow, Monday, I'll start gathering together what I sent before and have it in the mail by Tuesday.  Yes, I did do the letter on a computer, so I can send you another.  Junk Zine #9 won't be out for a while yet, but your letter and my reply will be in that.

Talk to you soon,

James
