Hi

Howdy Artoholics!

My name is Pat Lackenbauer and my zine is called The Wandering Artoholic. It's essentially a running autobiography of my life...the adventure, the sadness, the boredom, the good stuff, the weirdness, the road trips, head trips, lost love....all that regular life shit we all go thru. Oh, and a ton of my funky ink drawings, patisms and photography...all mixed up just right.

I release the 104 page zine every couple of months and make the physical copies available as a subscription. I also have an e-book of the first 8 issues.

Fires, Adirondack Chairs and the Essence of Peace

Listen. Can I share something with you all? Can I tell you something for real? I really love fires man! Not in a weirdo pyromaniac kind of way you understand, but in a simple hanging out around a fire pit kind of way. I love the sound burning wood makes. The crackle and popping and gentle rhythmic sway of the airwaves. I love the colours that dance and flicker and lick the air. I love the warmth it spreads.
