My new zine "Dangerous Truth (pt.I)" is now available, and #2 should be finished by the end of the month. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of it yet, but I can tell you about the content: 24 pages w/ inlay and bookmark, subjects including my experience with DIY gaming, Dungeons and Dragons,mental health issues, and writing culture. I visited the Independent Publishing Resource Center yesterday--not to check out zines from their superfluous library, but to actually work on a zine! Imagine that! It appeared that a lot of the people there couldn't. Granted, I know the "independent" part of the name means you're supposed to go DIY, but some people skills with the folks there would have proved for a much productive and friendly visit. As I was getting ready to leave my parents' house last night, my Dad indicated me to stop and I glanced over to where he was sitting on the couch with our lovable cat, Bob. I awoke today to the sound of a drum cadence outside my lonely apartment complex in Vancouver, WA. I literally jumped out of bed and saw and heard to my pleasant surprise a band marching by a block outside my window. There's life in Vancouver after all!!! (Limited time only.
