The Chicago Alternative Comics Expo is taking place June 16 & 17th from 11am - 6pm at 1104 S Wabash (8th floor)!!  This show will feature tons of self-publishers making really great minicomics (the comic book version of a zine, or the zine version of a comic book?), as well as graphic novels, anthologies, and prints, and it's taking place in the same spot as the Chicago Zine Fest & Printers Ball.Some of the folks coming I think zinesters will be excited about are:Lilli Carré, Jeffrey…See More

Hey!


This idea came up at the post-fest meeting for the Chicago Zine Fest, let's have a Chicago Zinester Picnic this Saturday (the 14th)! Bring a dish to share (along with an ingredient list, so those of us with dietary restrictions can know whether we can enjoy your food), and zines to trade. You might also want to bring a blanket, or any items that make picnics fun, like frisbees or balls or hoola-hoops?
