Day one project updates!

The garage has been cleared out and the murals spray painted. It's a lovely day. I've been keeping myself busy with library stuff, and completely forgot about my school obligations! I need to work on my time management skills. With the murals done, all that is left now are the donations and the materials to build the shelves with. The library should be open in a month or two depending on how smoothly everything goes. I might need someone to volunteer during lending hours also, if that is…See More

Lending Library

Hey Portland folks,Wednesday the 4th at 3pm I am having a shelve building/ mural painting get together at my house. This will be an ongoing project until the murals are finished and enough books/zines are donated. Basically I am turning my vacant garage into library. If you have any zines you would like to donate it would be much appreciated. A lot of people have been getting involved. I'm rly excited to see how a space that isn't necessarily community oriented will turn into something we can…See More

Do you trade your zine? I am looking to trade for zines to take with me on my upcoming trip.

There is a list of what I have available on my WMZ blog, but here's a quick summary: smut, poetry, candy reviews, perzine/poetry combo about my month of work exchange at a retreat for artists/writers in rural Kansas, perzine about feeling invisible as queer because my partner is a man.

If any of those sound interesting to you, please drop me a line and we can work out a trade.

most definitely. my zine will probably be mostly vegetarian but easy to make vegan? i honestly just became a vegetarian myself so i don't even really know much about vegan cooking, but i will try to include what i can (and of course any contributions people make!)

i'm sorry? i just dunno if you meant in regards to my food zine, or if you're referencing a zine i believe i once read called "the cheap vegan cookbook" or something like that.
