THE MEADOW VIDEO -- FOREVER MOVING FORWARD

This three minute video virtually sums up the four years it has taken to produce this novel. The music is very much an integral part of its creation.

__________________________________________________________________________ "The Meadow" is now now available Amazon, Barnes and Noble and most on-line stores. Once momentum gathers, it shouldn't be long before it reaches the shelves in your local bookstores, libraries and supermarkets. For those folk who have shown interest so far in the release of this book, I don't suppose it would hurt for you to have a peep and see what is in store. Thank you for all the interest you have shown. Some of you have been with us for many months, wondering when on earth this book will be released. Well, now you have your answer. To learn more go to your local Amazon page, click on to "Books" and then type in "Mike O'Hare and Elfreda Pretorius." The page should come up with the books, both soft and hardback, displayed. . _________________________________________________________________________ THE MEADOW HAS ITS OWN NETWORK
The Meadow now has its own network. All new articles posted there will also be posted here and, of course, all relevant material here will be duplicated there. So now you have the best of both worlds. I hope that you will come in and have a look for yourself. If you like what you see, then maybe you will consider joining us. This network was created to help promote The Meadow novel toward publication. It has been four hard years of work, but every minute was a moment to savour. Now the chocks have been pulled away and "The Meadow" is now ready to be given to the world.
Please click on to The Meadow Network to discover a whole new world waiting for you.

As an existing columnist for various sites, I try to use material that will appeal to people of all ages and denominations. As this is more of a personal page, I would like to take the liberty of focusing more on the co-written novel that has been recently completed. -- Mike O'Hare

HOLD ON TO YOUR COMICS AND MAGS -- The future's only round the corner

Posted on March 9, 2011 at 7:50am 0 Comments

I’m pretty sure there are many like me who have a predisposition to hoard. The Aladdin’s Cave of any home is the attic or loft where all the unwanted stuff gets piled away and is forgotten — out of sight, out of mind. My attic is the home to many of my kids’ (now grown up) old toys and comics, lovingly preserved and…

YOUR THOUGHTS RECORDED -- FOR EVER

A THOUGHT: The act of thinking; the exercise of the mind in any of its higher forms; reflection; cogitation.

"All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him,… Continue

LIBRARIES UNDER THREAT OF CLOSURE

Posted on February 17, 2011 at 8:10am 3 Comments

It may not be happening in your neighbourhood yet, but if the UK manage to close down all of it's branch libraries because of so-called cost cutting, it could happen anywhere. Please support this by sharing with others.

THE MEADOW by Mike O'Hare and Elfreda Pretorius. Available at most of the usual book outlets, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Borders, Chapters etc. There is a whole new world created when the marketing machine gets into gear. Here's where it's important to get the right image and interest going with the intention of creating a sound or an image that will stick. Of course, once the book has been read, everything changes course and a more subtler approach is… Continue

I don't see that ISPs will support it, the industry is very much up in arms about it. Besides the fact it is techincally a ridiculous endeavour. I think it is really just a ploy by the govt to win family first ... but who knows.

I agree with you, it's pretty shocking stuff, although the Herald Sun isnt the most credible paper in the world. Any other news sources report on this? Will be interesting to see what happens in the senate.

That said, I dont think it really matter if you were moderated by the administrator or something (what are you actually complaining about?) because the joke wasnt at all funny anyway.
