Hi, zineophiles. Thanks for stopping by!

My name is Michelle Aiello. I was born and raised in Chicago, but I recently moved to rural Kentucky. I live in a pre-Civil War era house with my handsome boyfriend Scott and my fabulous black cat, Basil. I started Indigo zine in 1995. I also make greeting cards and organize a semi-annual D.I.Y. event called Ephemera Festival. I am 100% committed to print media. Indigo will never be a blog or e-zine. :)

More information on myself and my projects can be found at www.indigozine.com.

BRAND NEW ONLINE STORE!

Hi, zine friends! I am excited to announce that I have relaunched indigozine.com! I've had the domain for years, but I decided to make it my permanent website. This is not a Wordpress or Google site, but one I built & designed from scratch with hosting I actually pay for. I figured it was time to take myself seriously and also take my projects to the next level. Plus, I wanted to teach myself more advanced web & graphic design, so this…See More

Hey zine kids! I am excited to announce that my blog is up and running! I’ve been working on it for about a month now, and I feel I’m ready to go public with it. I’m not sure how it will develop over time, but so far I have really enjoyed creating and writing it. Check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks so much. http://michelleaiello.wordpress.com/

How do I make a quarter sized zine?

Posted on August 21, 2009 at 12:42pm 5 Comments

Indigo has always been half sized, which is relatively easy to set up in MS Word and then cut & paste. Issue #17 done and ready to print, but it's a double issue, and I want to make the second part a quarter sized zine. Can anyone offer any advice/tips/techniques? Thanks!

Change of address

Posted on February 25, 2009 at 1:00pm 0 Comments

Indigo has a new address. You can now reach me at:

Indigo Zine
P.O. Box 180184
Chicago, IL 60618

Why do I have a new address? The answer is in Indigo #17, WHICH IS ALMOST COMPLETE!

By the by, If you want to join my mailing list and receive word when the issue is released, please send me your contact info.

Kiss!

Hi Lulu!
Thanks for getting in touch. I have a variety of back issues for $1 each. If you PayPal or send me a few bucks, I'll send a little collection of back issues your way. And yes, that would be awesome if you wanted to review me. Where did you get issues #15-17? Just curious. Thanks and have a fabulous day! - MA

2 questions:
1. Any chance you have back issues further back than #15? I own the last three, but no others.
& 2. Would it be okay with you if I reviewed your zine on my blog/webzine?
