Hi, zineophiles. Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Michelle Aiello. I was born and raised in Chicago, but I recently moved to rural Kentucky. I live in a pre-Civil War era house with my handsome boyfriend Scott and my fabulous black cat, Basil. I started Indigo zine in 1995. I also make greeting cards and organize a semi-annual D.I.Y. event called Ephemera Festival. I am 100% committed to print media. Indigo will never be a blog or e-zine. :)
More information on myself and my projects can be found at www.indigozine.com.

After a long 2 years, I finally have a new issue! In Indigo #18 I write about leaving Chicago after 32 years, my club kid days in the '90s and friendship with the legendary party promoter Zoe Orgasma and adjusting to rural life in Kentucky. I am very proud of this issue and I hope you enjoy it too! To get a copy, send $4 via Paypal to michelleaiello at gmail dot com or concealed cash to

Thanks so much for the lovely response!! Made my day :) I was wondering if you'd maybe want to trade zines? If you're interested, ya can just message me your info...if at the moment trading doesn't seem ideal, that's totally fine.

Hi! I was at Chicago Zine Fest a few weeks ago, and I bought a copy of Indigo (issue eleven). Just wanted to let you know that it was AMAZING! I was really blown away. Keep writing! :)

I am interested in Indigo, do you wanna trade? ^^
Thanks for getting in touch. I have a variety of back issues for $1 each. If you PayPal or send me a few bucks, I'll send a little collection of back issues your way. And yes, that would be awesome if you wanted to review me. Where did you get issues #15-17? Just curious. Thanks and have a fabulous day! - MA

1. Any chance you have back issues further back than #15? I own the last three, but no others.
& 2. Would it be okay with you if I reviewed your zine on my blog/webzine?
