Hi! My name is Mellie. I live in Chicago. I am a Vegan. Okay, with that out of the way....I like walking around with my husband Kriss while looking for new places. I am very fond of indie book stores and little grocery shops.
I am going to help start a zine with a few people called The Avocado. It's named after a room in our apartment that is painted a tacky green and a stripe of brown. It's pretty much going to be about food and other fun things.
My favorite zines are about Veganism and sustainable living.

Anyway, I am working on my first zine in over 10 years...yikes. I feel like I almost forgot how to do it. I am having fun learning though. I know it will be an amazing experience once I get things rolling.
