My name is Matthew and I make a lit zine called Number Nothing. The purpose of Number Nothing is to give myself and others an outlet for creative writing without having to go through the traditional and heartbreaking submission process.
Issue 1 is an open letter to the people who showed me hospitality as I bummed across the country for the first two months of 2009. I have a few copies of this left and while it is written for a specific audience, I think it could be appreciated by people who weren't "there."
Issue 2 contains 2 very short stories (under 1000 words each) of scenes from my youth, with illustrations and a comic by my friend Janelle.
Issue 3 contains 3 short stories: 1 by me, 1 by my friend Jon, and 1 by Andria Alefhi of the zine We'll Never Have Paris. Artwork is by me. This will be out by the end of June. The cover art below is just a preview; the real one will be blue.
I also have a short piece in Volume 4 of We'll Never Have Paris.
All zines are for sale at a price of $1 shipped. I also accept trades.
