Dear zinesters,
I have always thought that letters are simply one of the sweetest things in the whole wide world. Some things just don't come out, but with a pen and paper, its like thoughts and feelings take over. Suddenly all you had to say is in front of you.

I'm guilty of having written letters that were never meant to be sent. It just feels good to address someone and let it all out. It's probably a good thing I didn't send them...ha!

So Sincerely Yours is a project to collect letters and put them together in a zine (and a blog) for letter fanatics like me.

There's no discrimination here. It can be love letters, angry letters, happy letters, sad letters, cover letters, absolutely anything. These can be addressed to someone with an actual name or you can make up a name. You can simply address it to "lover", "mom", "friend", "world", whomever and whatever, really. If you feel like writing to your past, or future self, you can do that too.

You can sign them with your actual name. Or you can make up a name. Or they can be anonymous.
Your letter can be that, a letter. With words, and commas, and periods, and all that stuff. But if you want to communicate something that cannot be said in words, and you have an image, those are appreciated as well. Drawings, sketches, photographs, designs, etc, can all go.

Basically, the only requirements are that it needs to address someone, have a message, and signature (not necessarily your real name, as said above).

I know that letters are private and it makes too much sense that most of you will not feel comfortable with me knowing that you wrote the letter. So, the letters can be addressed to this address:

If you think you know people that might be interested, please let them know. Send them the link. Or give them my contact information. I would like to have at least 20 letters. But the more the merrier.

Please submit your letters as soon as possible. I wanted to have the zine done by May but I haven't received sufficient letters, so I will have to drag it out a bit. I will be working on it over the summer, so submitting anytime now would be greatly appreciated.
