Jen / She's Not a Morning Person

I'm Jen - a 30-something year old fat queer zinester from Los Angeles. I used to run MAD People Distro for seven years and have been writing She's Not a Morning Person zine since 1998.

About the zine: She's Not a Morning Person zine started back in 1998 as kind of a random personal zine. It has since evolved into a personal political zine that has covered topics from race, sex, culture, love, addiction, and more. The current issue is #12, with issues #6-#11 still available. All previous issues are out of print with no current plans to reprint.

For info on individual issues or if you're interested in buying, please go to http://etsy.com/shop/magpiesformoons

Distros, please contact me for sample copies and wholesale rates!

I love to trade for the following: mental health zines, craft zines, body positive zines, zines about animals/pets/cats, queer zines, crafts

I also blog over at Skinned Knees: http://skinnedknees.net about body positivity, fatshion, feminism, and pretty things.

Hi Jen! Would you be up to trading a couple issues of your zine for a couple of mine? My perzines often have threads of mental health strung through them, and the first issue of A Visitor in Myself is about BPD.

hello jen,

i think i would very much like to read your 'zine. I think you may find my 'zine of interest. I'll trade if you'd like.

my 'zine is called wiseblood and i have a number of issues i will send you concerning my stays in psychiatric wards and crazy stories of my life as an addict. My only warning is that it is rather bitter and sassy.

Oh, plus, almost every cover is cat-related. i'm obsessed with cats.

if you'd like to trade my address is 1304 175th Pl. NE, Bellevue, WA, 98008

thanks, fishspit.
