Liv commented on Emma Jane Falconer's group Brighton Zinesters
"Hey all, thank you so so much for such an enjoyable zinefest! I could only make it on the Sunday in the end, but had a great time - the whole thing was really well organised and the atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. It was my first zine fest…"

I write for and edit my own zine, Shebang, which isn't so much a magazine with zine ethics but a zine that likes to think BIG! My graphic designer friend and old housemate Lynsey organises and lays out all of the content & sends it to the printers, so it's a bit of a double act. I live in Brighton and she lives in Falmouth, Cornwall, and so both places are quite heavily featured in each issue, though the writers and artists that contribute come from all over the place.

A lot of the features are music-related, though crafts, recipes, travel guides and artist profiles all make an appearance along with illustrations for each... we haven't really defined a definite style yet & just tend to make it up as we go along!

So far we've only had two issues out, but the third is nearly finished and should be out before Xmas. All info can be found on our site www.shebang-mag.co.uk
