"Not 100% about train hopping but the author was part of a crew for awhile and demonstrates and intimate knowledge of the yards of the Oakland area. I highly, highly suggest picking up Raw Deal if you can find it. Really solid work."

Zines About Hopping Trains?

Hi, I hope this is the right place to put a question like this. I don't check this site often and, consequently, I am still trying to get the hang of it!Anyway, lately I've been really fascinated by the idea of hopping freight trains, and have just been looking for zines about the subject. Or even just about trains in general. So far I've come across the zine Railroad Semantics, which looks cool. I was just wondering if anyone knew of more zines about the topic, and could offer some…See More

struggling with community involvement???

Hi all,I'm trying to get my community involved in zines, because I know my generation has a lot to say and I think it would be a great creative outlet for everyone. I am new to zines myself, and it's been a great creative outlet for me so I just wanted to share the joy, so to speak.  I've been trying to start this project called PrintLives to create compilation zines of the voices of my community. I gained the support of two other friends, hung fliers up all over town about PrintLives and a…See More

"Oh my, how rude of me not to introduce myself!" ♥

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm still not quite sure how to properly use all the features on this website, but I'll try my best.

I started my zine Minutes to Milleniums (with one n) in Autumn '10. I love colorful things, and stories. And ♪♪. ..Ah, I'm a lover of pretty much everything, unless it hurts other creatures or hurts me.

I can be painfully quiet, or the goofiest person in the room.

☼ ZzZzine Zine zine ZzZine ☼

I'm new to this. I'm loving this.

Minutes to Milleniums is a perzine about the different quirks in my life, subject to rants and rambles. From challenges with my kidneys to optimism to memories.

Heey Lauren! I don't think I got the chance to meet you @ the scranton zine fest but we both were there.... and quoted in the local scranton paper. Unfortunately, it says Doyles-town when it's doylestown but hey I got in the newspaper so I'm still stoked about it. Here's the article in case you haven't come across it yet ----> http://thetimes-tribune.com/news/zinesters-hit-downtown-scranton-1.1160736#axzz1QMSsPp00

Hello! I just befriended you.  Do you want to trade zines?  .  I have a zine about having Crohns disease I saw that you have PKD, which is totally different but I'm sure there are some similarities.
