Hello. I'm Laura and I live in London most of the time, it's where I like to call home. I work as a bike mechanic and when I'm not doing that I like to draw, sew, make vegan food and zines!

I write a feminist perzine called Pillow Talk and I'm going to start working on a collaborative zine with my friend Lydia called Illustrated Women about women and tattoos.

Pillow Talk is where I write about what's going on in my life; stuff that makes me smile and things that make me punch the walls. Usually a mixture of my disillusionment with feminism, weight/body acceptance, monogomy/open relationships, shyness cycling and peppered with drawings.

I don't have any copies at the moment as I desperately hunting down a copier, but as soon as I do they will be available on here!

Zine Fail

Well, it was fail but now it is done!

I had finished Pillow Talk, but then loads of crappy things happened to me and I ripped it all up and couldn't bear to think about it until a couple of weeks ago. I started again though and got it finished and now it's all ready to go.

Pillow Talk number two is done!

It's finally done! It ended up being 26 pages long and I'm pretty proud of it. I'm going to go and get it copied sometime this week and I *should* be able to post it out next week.

I'm so glad I can finally honour the swaps you ladies have asked for!

Number 3 is definitely not going to take so long. It felt really good to get all that out of me.

Finally found a cheap photocopier! So now I just need to do the finishing touches for Pillow Talk and find a good picture for the front cover and I can finally print some copies and send them to you…
