I'd made 10 or so contribution zines before I made one entirely of my own content. I love the social aspect of zines way more than I love talking about myself (which, ok, I am also pretty fond of). I get your point, but it came out a bit harsh.
So, I'm just in the preliminary stages of starting my zine. I've worked with newspapers and magazines for years, and now I just want to create something out of love instead of obligation.
