My name is Kisha and I live in Chicago. I started writing zines when I was 15. The first being butt fat. I recently co-wrote a zine with my partner Dave (Black Carrot) about our house-buying experience (Fort Mortgage). I'm working on a new zine and collect zines about body acceptance, fat girls, queer love, or bikes. Get at me!
I just finished the first issue of A Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, LIFE. It's sort of a biomythography zine about growing up fat, poor, awkward, and black.
I recently completed a zine about my history of sexual abuse entitled "I Could Live in Hope: Sexual Abuse and Survival."
