24 Hour Zine Thing

Each July, the 24 Hour Zine Challenge asks zinesters to create a 24-page zine from conception to final product in 24 hours straight. Zines should be of suitable size and technical difficulty so that this truly is a challenge for individual zinesters.

Charging for zines?

I was talking to an indie comic publisher who is on his 2nd of a 5 part comic, and he was saying that zinesters don't charge for their zines. There is a zine fair coming up interstate that I am sending down my first zine for, and I plan on charging $1 for. He asks me why don't I just give them away? I'm totally unknown in the zine world in my city, and have no idea what to do.Cheers.See More
